Ruben Avelar

Ruben currently is the Director of Career Center Services for JobTrain. His primary objective is to maintain consistency and continuity with JobTrain’s service delivery model, as it pertains to services, workshops and outreach. Additionally, Ruben oversees the evening program and teaches JobTrain’s Intermediate English Education course. He has been a part of the JobTrain organization for over 23 years. He is a lifetime resident of East Palo Alto and a graduate of UC Berkeley. Ruben is passionate about making a difference in the lives’ of others.
