In this Manufacturing Technician role, you will be responsible for hands-on assembly, wiring and/or testing of 7 different life science instruments. The holder of the position will also work with the production team, Manufacturing Engineering, and other internal functions to continuously identify design, process, and efficiency improvements. The goal is to ensure work is completed to required timescales, output, and quality targets. This position is Monday-Friday, 6am-3pm
What you will accomplish together with us:
Assemble precision, life-science instruments maintaining standard build times.
Follow production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
Troubleshoot life-science instruments in production using structured methods.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
Operate manufacturing equipment and tooling.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Assist in the training of new employees as needed.
What will convince us:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in an engineering field preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Technician or similar role in a production environment.
Great technical communication skills, ability to effectively interact with Manufacturing Engineering.
Strong mechanical, electrical and technical skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, and overtime as needed.

Compensation is $30.00-$40.00 an hour, depending on experience, and skill set.
