JobTrain's annual Breakfast of Champions is legendary for its emotional impact, and last year's Breakfast surpassed everyone's expectations. More than 700 people gathered at Hyatt Regency Santa Clara the morning of May 1, 2009 to honor and celebrate JobTrain graduates who have turned their lives around despite all odds, thanks to help from people like you. Attendees enjoyed comedian Michael Pritchard's stories and the ever-irreverent Jan Hutchins as Master of Ceremonies. And 49ers coach Mike Singletary gave us all an impassioned message of hope in these challenging times. All proceeds from the Breakfast directly help the more than 5,000 low-income adults, teens and children that JobTrain serves each year through job training, placement, and youth and child development services. |
